Processing

Aloe vera is a complex succulent with around 200 active molecules contributing to its therapeutic properties. However, the biological activity begins to deteriorate quickly unless the plant is stabilized within two hours of harvesting. Therefore, it must be processed immediately within this 2-hour window to retain as many nutrients as possible.

Terry Laboratories is the oldest and largest concentrate manufacturer to possess this capability.

Just as Nature Intended

We use our proprietary NaturLOCK System™ to capture as many nutrients as possible and ensure the purity of our products. Unlike other manufacturers, who source their aloe vera from different producers and have to transport it to faraway processing facilities, we process aloe vera right from our fields. Terry Laboratories ensures everything is processed right within that 2-hour “sweet spot.”

This revolutionary system uses reverse osmosis to concentrate the raw gel. Other processes can damage the plant’s polysaccharides, greatly diminishing the end product’s quality. Terry Laboratories’ aloe gels and powders retain most of their natural properties, mimicking fresh leaves.

Redefining Refinement

After processing, the aloe concentrate is then refined into a large variety of both standard and specialized aloe vera products, including:

  • Gels
  • Powders
  • Whole Leaf Concentrates
  • Oils
  • Aloe Specialty Products

All of our products are made from organically grown aloe barbadensis leaves. Finished products are packaged and preserved upon customer request. Listed below is the multi-step journey each of our products follows through to ensure the level of quality we promise.
